Okay.
0:26:02
I'm happy that we we got some additional money for it this year.
0:26:05
The preliminary plan included the restoration of 19,600,000.0 in fiscal twenty twenty restoring the summarizing program pet in fiscal twenty twenty six only.
0:26:16
The original plan was a baseline reduction but this reduction is only for one year funding.
0:26:21
Why is the restoration not baseline?
0:26:23
Has there been any conversations with O and B on on what baseline funding for this program will look like?
Nevita Bailey
0:26:30
So as you know the city is facing a number of different competing priorities.
0:26:35
I think it's a testament to the administration that they ensure that the restoration happened early in the year so that the agencies and providers can effectively plan for this upcoming summer.
0:26:44
But at this time the funding is not the baseline in our budget.
0:26:47
Mhmm.
0:26:47
And we're continuing to work with them to ensure that we can if funding is your baseline, it can happen early enough so that we can effectively plan for upcoming summers.
Althea V. Stevens
0:26:54
I know where we can get some money from.
0:26:56
I mean, you listen to the DOE hearing I had the other day, some money over there that we probably could use to run an effective program.
0:27:03
But, you know, I think it's about 80,000,000 over there that we could use.
0:27:08
With the current change in the fiscal twenty twenty six preliminary plan, do you feel the WSD has adequate resources to meet all the programmatic needs?
0:27:15
I know you're gonna say yes, but go ahead.
Nevita Bailey
0:27:19
Hi Tristy.
0:27:20
WSD has the resources that it needs.
0:27:22
Think that we're in on again, we're always in ongoing conversations with OMB.
0:27:25
It is in the best interest of every entity of the city to ensure that agencies are appropriately staffed so we can deliver service.
0:27:33
And so we continue to be in conversations with OMB.
