- $384,000 allocated for FY '29 appears to be a placeholder amount
- The project is being managed by DDC, not DCAS

The one critical component of the borough based jail project is that the Brooklyn criminal court needs to be made ADA accessible so that the Sally Port on so that we so detainees have access from the courthouse to the jail.
1:18:04
My understanding is that there's $384,000 allocated for FY '29.
1:18:09
Is that right?
1:18:10
And is that accurate?
1:18:13
Or is that
Joe Wagner
1:18:15
No.
1:18:15
That's not the I don't that number is probably a holding.
1:18:19
That number, DDC is doing that project.
1:18:22
It's not a DECAS project.
Lincoln Restler
1:18:24
So if I want so my anxiety here is that the court the jail is supposed to be completed in FY '29, '2 years after the law requires, but still it's slated to be completed in '29.
1:18:37
But if the project is only the capital work is only going to begin for ADA accessibility in FY '20 '9, We're not going to have that done in time for the jail to open.
1:18:46
Is there anything we can do to work together to try to speed up that timeline?
Louis Molina
1:18:49
What I can do, we can engage with DDC because they're the lead on that project and just kind of see where they are in their planning.
1:18:55
Okay.
1:18:56
Yeah.
1:18:56
Follow-up with you.
