- Allowance clause allows flexibility in processing without formal amendments

Julie Won

So for the remainder, so if only 86% have completed, what outreach is being done for the remainder who also need to complete their attestations?
Lisa Flores
1:39:28
So the agencies are working very closely with OMB.
1:39:31
And, in any cases where those attestations are not complete, you know, there there is probably sort of a unique set of circumstances to finalizing, finalizing that process.
Julie Won
1:39:43
When can we expect for the for the amendments to be made for all at least for the 86% who've completed their applications for their COLA?
Lisa Flores
1:39:51
So they will not necessarily necessitate an amendment in every in every case.
1:39:56
So much of that that process is done.
1:40:00
There still is definitely some of that process that remains.
1:40:03
But, again, the allowance clause was intended, among other things, to allow sort of flexibility for contracts when there was a change to not necessitate an amendment for every single action.
1:40:16
So many of those should be processed through the allowance clause.
Julie Won
1:40:19
Okay.
1:40:20
So how many have been processed through the allowance clause?
Lisa Flores
1:40:22
I don't have a number in front of me, chairwoman.
Julie Won
1:40:24
Okay.
1:40:25
