Council Member Gale A. Brewer inquires about support for smaller clubhouses in addition to the larger ones already established. Commissioner Morse responds about the current status of the clubhouse program.
- DOHMH believes in the clubhouse model for mental health support
- 11 of 12 clubhouses from a new RFP are large and already in action
- The RFP is closed, funds have been fully awarded, and contracts executed
- There's no immediate plan for supporting smaller clubhouses, suggesting the need for continued advocacy for one-year funding to establish them

Next question is clubhouses.
1:57:17
I want to thank council member Linda Lee.
1:57:20
She's on the clubhouses.
1:57:21
Are you going to support the smaller clubhouses?
1:57:23
We like the big ones, but we want the smaller ones.
1:57:26
Are you going to help us support them?
Michelle Morse
1:57:29
What I'll start by saying is that we really believe in the clubhouse model in the New York City Health Department.
1:57:34
Eleven of the 12 clubhouses that were a part of the new RFP Those are big ones.
1:57:40
They are large but they're in action and so we're proud that that has happened.
1:57:46
From our perspective, the RFP is closed.
1:57:49
All the funds have been fully awarded and the contracts have been executed.
1:57:53
So that's where we are on our clubhouse.
Gale A. Brewer
1:57:57
So we're gonna have to go back for the one year, one year, one year, one year to get the smaller ones?
Michelle Morse
1:58:01
We do support the clubhouse model.
Aaron Anderson
1:58:03
Okay.
Gale A. Brewer
1:58:04
