Acting Commissioner Javier Lojan outlines the criteria and metrics DSNY will use to assess the success of the Manhattan Community District 9 containerization pilot program before deciding on broader implementation.

  • 311 rat sighting service requests will be a key metric for evaluating the program's effectiveness.
  • DSNY has created a web form for employees and building managers to report issues.
  • Lojan mentions that they will remain flexible and may expand their evaluation criteria as the pilot progresses.

So as you know the three one one rat sightings SR's are big piece of that.
0:38:29
Also we have created a web form where our employees and building managers will be able to report any issues.
0:38:38
And I think a big part of that will inform us on, you know, the findings of the pilot.

And, know, obviously as we go on, we might find things that, you know, we're not thinking about now, but we can always expand it.
0:38:52
But I think that's where we'll start off with and take it from there.
