This is all one time stuff.
2:09:11
I just want to get back quickly to the commercial way zones.
2:09:15
It sounds as though you would have more information on the upcoming hearing on this.
2:09:21
You're still not able to ballpark how many commercial waste zones will be up by the end of the year?
Javier Lojan
2:09:27
I mean, I think it's safe to say we can roll out an additional zone.
2:09:31
I think we'd like to do obviously more, but within, you know, with the adequate resources and just making sure that we're rolling out the zones carefully like we did Queen Central.
2:09:41
But I think I'd love to discuss that more at
Shaun Abreu
2:09:43
this Would Queen Central pilot be enough to learn in order to implement the full zones?
Javier Lojan
2:09:50
Yeah.
2:09:50
We were informed a lot.
2:09:52
I mean as you know every geographical area has its own unique challenges so I'm sure we're gonna learn more from other zones.
Shaun Abreu
2:09:59
Is there a budget ask that would help enhance the implementation of more zones or all the zones in the next you know whatever months ahead?
Joseph Antonelli
2:10:09
No and we're just working with OMB to you know to work within our existing budget level just to make sure we have the adequate resources.
Shaun Abreu
2:10:16
I think you said earlier 17 hires
Joshua Goodman
2:10:18
right?
Joseph Antonelli
2:10:19
No so we have 17 people on staff right now.
Shaun Abreu
2:10:22
Okay and you think that's enough to implement the full zones?
Joseph Antonelli
2:10:24
No we would need some additional hires if we wanted to do more than one zone at a time and we're just working with OMB you know to do that within our existing budget level.
2:10:33
So there's no specific budget ask for it.
Shaun Abreu
2:10:35
It would be helpful for the council to know what the cost would be in order to implement you know the cost per zone so that if we need to make a push for this budget cycle that we know what the cost associated with that will be.
