The New York City Council held a voice vote on Resolution 175-A, which calls on New York State to enact Senate Bill 442 and Assembly Bill 3355. These bills would amend social services law to mandate local departments to link persons living with HIV to benefits and services, and ensure that those receiving housing assistance pay no more than 30% of their household income toward shelter costs. The resolution passed by voice vote.
