Just wanted to speak a little bit to what council member Gutierrez was raising.

So one of the concerns with the legislation is that our permits are as of right, we don't have discretion whether to issue them or not.

So just because there was a fire, that wouldn't be a reason for us to withhold a permit.

But then speaking to the chair's last question, there isn't specific protocols at DOB but to the extent a building with rent regulated units in it is going to be demolished then they need state HCR approval.
