Okay.
0:58:53
The other question I have is just this, you know, the technology is so sophisticated now.
0:58:58
So my question is, again, I know we don't always wanna work with NYPD.
0:59:03
I I have great respect for them.
0:59:05
But they have thousands of people watching, the websites, as you know.
0:59:09
Like over a thousand.
0:59:10
So my question is to try to be proactive.
0:59:13
Do you work with I don't know if the AG, you know better than I, does that.
0:59:17
I don't know if the DA does that.
0:59:18
I know what they do, but I don't know if they have that kind of capacity.
0:59:21
So my question is do you work with other agencies that are constantly scouring the web for illegal actors?
0:59:30
Obviously they're looking probably for more criminal, and you're looking for more civil.
0:59:33
But you know, unfortunately, they're all illegal.
0:59:36
So my question is what are you doing to work with other agencies on not just referrals but also proactively watching the web, which is full of this kind of activity?
Vilda Vera Mayuga
0:59:47
Yeah, no, thank you so much.
0:59:49
We'll be doing more of that, you know, as time goes on in what we're seeing, right, with the current federal administration because obviously as was mentioned during the the remarks by Chair Aviles, right, we do see that people tend to there's just more opportunity for scams when there's different administrations coming in with different approaches to our immigrant community.
1:00:14
We work, like as we mentioned, with the district attorney's offices and the attorney general, and we'll continue to do that in having these discussions as well in terms of what we can do proactively with them to identify places that we should all be looking at or you know instead of just reacting to a complaint that comes in.
Gale A. Brewer
1:00:32
Okay, so they are doing that kind of proactive web research as far as you know?
Vilda Vera Mayuga
1:00:37
I don't know the specifics of how they're approaching these cases, but we definitely have the relationships now to be in touch with them and work together to address it as an issue.
Carlos Ortiz
1:00:48
We can
Gale A. Brewer
1:00:49
PD does.
1:00:50
Go ahead.
Carlos Ortiz
1:00:50
I'm sorry.
1:00:50
We can make sure to follow-up with all the DA's offices again and the AG about any type of cyber capacity they might have.
