Thank you.
0:54:17
No in all seriousness, wow that is a question that involves a lot of different answers depending on the day who I've spoken to.
0:54:34
I think you would be better served talking to MTA.
0:54:38
What I can say is that MOPD is here to assist the community, listen to what they have to say about their complaints and their positive comments as well.
0:54:52
And we take that back to the MTA to let them know what we are hearing both good and bad.
0:55:01
But we're also advising the constituency that they have to let all of you know what's going on.
0:55:09
How they feel about it be it negative, be it positive.
0:55:16
But they have to be heard.
0:55:18
And what we do know is a lot of times they, meaning the constituents will let us know and then that's it.
0:55:27
You're right some improvements have occurred.
0:55:31
I've been in the field for a very long time and I will say it's gotten better.
0:55:40
But
Erik D. Bottcher
0:55:42
But just a little better, not a lot better.
0:55:49
And we can look I think it's not personal against the folks at the MTA.
0:55:54
The hardworking folks at the MTA, they are in many respects inheriting the system that was there when they started working there and they're limited with respect to funding and stuff.
0:56:07
But I think there needs to be real talk with them about how this is going.
0:56:16
We we have to be very honest with them about what needs to improve.
0:56:24
And if on a scale of one to 10, if they're like a five that's not acceptable and we have to lay out what steps need to be taken to get them up to 10 out of 10.
