Council Member Shaun Abreu inquires about the physical landscape differences between Queen Central and the Bronx East and West zones. Acting Commissioner Javier Lojan explains the variations in density and how these differences might impact the Commercial Waste Zones implementation.

  • The Bronx has areas of varying density, from high-density in Southern and Western Bronx to mid-to-lower density in Eastern Bronx
  • Queen Central is described as a mid-density area
  • These differences are expected to provide valuable insights for future zone implementations

Well I mean just my experience you know as far as the s and y operations it's it's it's they're different you know obviously there's parts of The Bronx that are you know high density like Southern Western Bronx and then you have Eastern Bronx that it's probably mid to lower density.
0:30:43
I would say Queen Central is probably more of like a mid density area so there are gonna be differences there in the higher density areas that and that's why I say I think we're we'll learn some from that.
