- DSNY anticipates businesses may save up to 32% on recycling rates and 18% on composting compared to traditional garbage collection.

Awardees are required to keep rates for collection of recyclable materials lower than rates for collection of refuse.

Javier Lojan

Okay.

So some of the the data that we collected for Queen Central were the cost and volume of solid waste recyclables and collection and disposal, the diversion of commercial waste from landfill, and any change to such diversion as compared to the previous fiscal year and then the feasibility of accepting commercial waste at MTS's and the amount of proportion of commercial waste received at the marine transfer station.

But then as you know we've mentioned in the testimony and and throughout is that the the great things about the ZWZ is that on average that we anticipate that businesses may save up to 32% on recycling and rates and then 18% on on composting compared to traditional garbage collection.
