And poor air quality has forced me and my classmates to evacuate my school's basement 18 times last year alone.

Notably, these bills will be critical in the energy transition of New York City's 1300 school buildings.

Many of which are old and are in severe need of investment, repair, and renovations.

We cannot cannot keep putting a band aid on the issue of climate change, and New York can lead the change.

This city council has the power to set us up with a sustainable long term system that is just the 1st step in saving New York City from the count countless more climate disasters that will help us.
