The Committee Counsel explains that the information on lobbyist fundraising for Mayor Adams in 2023 can be obtained through campaign finance filings or the NYC lobbyists search system.
- Currently, one needs to select individual lobbyist reports on the lobbyists search system to view the data.
- By December 31st, the Open Data platform will expand to include these lobbyist fundraising reports.
- The Clerk's Office is working to add a navigation field on the lobbyists search system for easier access.
- The Clerk's Office aims to publish the lobbyist fundraising data on the NYC Open Data portal by December 31st.

If just, you know, on the record, if I wanted to know how much money lobbyists raised for mayor Adams in 2023, could you describe the process for how I would access that information?

It can be accessed 2 different ways.

You could go to campaign finance and look at their filings, or you could go to our public system, NYC lobbyists search, and you could obtain the information.

The limitation is that you have to enter the lobbyists and then you have to basically select their report.

And then if they filed 1 for the year, you look at 1.

If they filed up to 6, you look at 6.

You could also we've been we've been aware of this issue, and we have been in consultation with OTI.

And they're expecting by that by December 31st, they're going to expand the Open Zeta platform to include those reports.
