Council Member Rita Joseph requested data on the ASD Nest program. John Hammer from the DOE provided the following information:
- The ASD Nest program is in 88 schools across grades K through 12
- There are 442 ASD Nest classes citywide
- 1,972 students are enrolled in ASD Nest classes
Additionally, Hammer provided data on the Horizon program:
- The Horizon program is in 69 schools across grades K through 12
- There are 255 Horizon classes citywide
- 1,853 students are enrolled in Horizon classes
