The strategy was the entire site is in the floodplain, so we were building garages on the lower levels to lift all new structures up out of the floodplain.

Making it a park is actually really good because when there is a a storm surge or any kind of flooding, it's the park that absorbs the water and then lets it get back into the bay.

We're doing native plant species, we're holding water on the roofs for irrigating the park.
