I think transparency, accountability, and humane treatment in our jail system is just one of the most important things to me.

In my work with CHS, I was working in direct service and policy development and I think being able to serve on the board would really allow me to work towards promoting solutions that prioritize safety and autonomy and stability and just have crucial oversight to be able to advocate for meaningful improvements in jail conditions in the city.
