The American Heart Association is supportive of increased funding for two specific programs that will address nutrition, hunger, and food insecurity in the city.

The American Heart Association is supportive of increased funding for Health Bucks, New York City's nutrition incentive program, and also for Get the Good Stuff, a a program where every dollar you spend using SNAP EBT on eligible fruits, vegetables, beans, and other products is matched up to $10 per day.
