The Committee on Public Safety voted to adopt all three proposed introductions related to NYPD surveillance technology oversight. The final vote tallies were as follows:
- Proposed Introductions 168-A and 233-A: Adopted with 11 votes in the affirmative, 0 in the negative, and no abstentions.
- Proposed Introduction 480-A: Adopted with 9 votes in the affirmative, 2 in the negative, and no abstentions.
The vote was initially held with 10 affirmative votes for 168-A and 233-A, and 8 affirmative and 2 negative votes for 480-A.
An additional vote from Council member Rivera increased the affirmative votes by one for all introductions.
