- TA presidents and property management are informed of security guard schedules
- Residents at senior buildings generally know when guards should be present
- Fire guards are usually present 24/7 in residential buildings with fire impairments
- Community centers or senior centers have guards present during open hours if there's a fire impairment

Is there any easy accessible system in which public housing residents can report the absence of security or fire safety guards?
1:16:04
And do residents have knowledge of schedule hours for security and fire safety guards?
Lauren Gray
1:16:11
That's a great question.
1:16:12
So, yes, we have a twenty four hour hotline.
1:16:15
It's 306-8800.
1:16:17
They can call the office of safety and security to report any fire guard or security guard issues.
1:16:24
We let the TA president and and property management staff know the times of of the security guards, that was agreed upon as we've done walk throughs with the TA president and property management because we wanted to give the residents the hours that they wanted.
1:16:37
So most of the residents at these senior buildings know the times when a guard should be there.
1:16:42
For fire guards, it's twenty four seven at most buildings.
1:16:45
So there should be they usually in a three eight hour shifts unless it's like a community center or senior center.
1:16:51
A guard will be there when the center is open if there's a fire impairment, but fire guards have to be there twenty four seven in our residential buildings.
