One one final question is the I mean, the concern of the lawsuits.
0:31:27
Because what's gonna happen is you will end up with, okay, this is a disaster.
0:31:32
We go to court, the issue gets reversed, and it's very confusing for everybody.
0:31:37
It's happening already in terms of the federal agencies.
0:31:39
Do you have any sense I mean, it's hard to know.
0:31:42
What are the courts going to do?
0:31:43
We don't know.
0:31:44
But do you have any sense of how that could play out or how you would suggest managing in that kind of a situation?
0:31:50
I like to hope the courts are gonna do the right thing and that, you know, how can you, end up with you know, today's papers are full of one agency that has literally nobody there to administer the program.
0:32:02
So that to me would be a lawsuit.
0:32:04
I'm sort of wondering where you think that's going go or what you would suggest handling that in terms of funding.
0:33:02
I agree with you.
0:33:03
I do worry that people starve and and don't have health care.
0:33:06
So I'm you know, this is, life and death as some as we know.
0:33:10
So, you know, I'm worried I mean, USAID is already those cuts are already killing people around the world.
0:33:16
So I worry that as we're talking about transparency, it's important, but then we have to know exactly where we need to fill the gaps.
0:33:22
Alright.
0:33:23
Thank you.
Jackie Sherman
0:32:11
Doctor.
0:32:11
We don't we can't tell you exactly where it's going to go.
0:32:15
And I think that's only one layer of uncertainty that the city is facing.
0:32:23
There are so many layers of uncertainty, which leads us to call for the city to have a more transparent and realistic approach that assesses risks and for the city to engage in contingency planning, because we're clearly in an environment of rapid change, where whatever our plan is today or tomorrow or on July 1 may change very rapidly.
