We have a long way to go.
1:19:34
And I and I I think that I think we're lucky.
1:19:38
The city is lucky right now and and actually put into place people who care about this issue.
1:19:43
Enough people in this council want to see things happen.
1:19:47
We understand what it means to feel unsafe.
1:19:50
We understand when we have family members who are impacted by the justice system, who are not being treated the way they need to be treated, who don't have places to go, who don't know how to navigate just basic health care systems.
1:20:03
So we we are committed to that and it's great to see the organizations, the service providers, the the many of the district attorneys, the public defenders, the judge judge Zayas.
1:20:15
I mean, he met with us last summer.
1:20:16
I mean, we are doing our part, and so we do need that partner on the other side of the mall to work with us.

It's a pleasure when we meet with speaker Adams, with you, with the council members, to not be pulling teeth.
1:20:32
It's the opposite where you're coming in.
1:20:35
You know, you're the biggest cheerleaders.
1:20:37
You have intelligent questions.
1:20:39
How do we move it even further?
1:20:41
And it's a pleasure.
1:20:43
But for you and for the commission, we just need to see the see this through.
1:20:51
We just need to push push push.
Sandy Nurse
1:20:53
Well thank you all.
1:20:55
Thank you gentlemen for being here, for giving your time.
1:20:59
We are going to close out this panel, do a quick maybe five minute break, and then we'll hear from I believe, Mokje.
1:21:07
I also want to acknowledge council member Ayala, deputy speaker Ayala on Zoom.
1:21:12
Thank you gentlemen.
