I think our streets are dangerous enough with cars speeding, running through reds or taking stop signs as more of a suggestion and it's only made worse when we can't look out into the street and see what's coming.

Every day in my neighborhood, I see my neighbors with young children pushing strollers, my other neighbors who use walkers or wheelchairs having to try to look around vehicles as best they can to make sure they can cross safely.

I think universal daylighting will make it much easier for us to move to our communities in a safer way.
