I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and I'm testifying in support of one one thirty eight.
5:35:25
Universal daylighting and intersections across New York City would be a simple cost effective change that would save lives and make our streets safer for everyone.
5:35:32
I know parking is already scarce in New York, and you may be reduct reluctant to reduce parking further.
5:35:38
But let's not let the car owning minority compromise the safety of pedestrians because we're all pedestrians at some point in our day.
5:35:44
Personally, I have been hit by a car in a crosswalk because the car couldn't see me.
5:35:50
I couldn't see the car when crossing due to a parked car that was right adjacent to the crosswalk.
5:35:56
So I I know this issue, personally and intimately.
5:36:00
So please support this universal daylighting proposal to make our intersections safer for everybody.
5:36:10
That's all for me.
