Thank you so much for for holding this hearing, and my name is Pedro Rodriguez, and I have lived in New York City for over two decades.

I live in Forest Hills, Queens, and I'm a member of community board six and part of the transportation committee, though I am speaking for myself.

My community board is one of the boards that voted unanimously for universal daylighting.

As a parent, I am constantly worry of my child being run over when trying to cross the street trying to cross the trying to cross the street on a crosswalk in a stroller in front of me.

That's something that every parent has to deal with.

You go to the crosswalk, you stop, you walk next to the stroller oh, next next to the stroller and put your head out because you're scared of moving the stroller in because you can't see over it.

Now I am five ten, so I'm not super tall, but I am high enough that I can see over most vehicles, not all.

However, my wife is four foot nine, so she's actually cannot see over most vehicles.

And so I'm constantly worried about, like, her getting run over with my with my son, And she has actually been run not not run over, but she has actually been almost run over multiple times while just walking around, taking my son to school, to the library, and everything else.

I understand that there's some council members and as as well as some people some members of the public who are worried about car owners in the districts and how the reducing there's a reduction in parking might affect them, but I'm a car owner.

I drive often to Eastern Queens where not more often than not, I am hit with non always stops.
