Thanks so much, Councilman Waldman.
1:41:09
I couldn't agree more.
1:41:10
I think it is a drop in the bucket.
1:41:12
If total $50,000,000 is what it would take to bring all the playgrounds into the school to School Yard to Playground program.
1:41:19
IBL noted before, it's such a worthwhile investment.
1:41:22
And frankly, in the grand scheme of things, with the $114,000,000,000 budget, it's such a small amount.
1:41:28
But, you know, I agree.
1:41:29
I think in addition to finding ways for the agencies to collaborate and communicate and how that shouldn't be a barrier, you all, as nonprofit organizations, are really doing incredible work that the Parks Department should really utilize more to make up for areas where perhaps the public resources and capacity may be an issue.
1:41:51
You all are proving how we can expand in creative ways the ability to address and build and repair new playgrounds on quick timelines even if the Parks Department can't do it alone.
1:42:02
So, I appreciate all your work.
1:42:04
Thank
UNKNOWN
1:42:05
you.

The next panel is Samir Omar from Coalition to Save Public Rec Center, Kit Greenberg, Wellness in the Schools, and then Robert Siemens from Local Nature Lab.
1:42:42
Can start with Omar.
