Good morning and thank you for your questions.
0:50:32
I think the first question was in regards to when is it appropriate to grant hardship.
0:50:40
As a new nominee for the LPC, I'm experienced enough to really speak on when it is or when it's not appropriate for hardship.
0:50:54
I can say that I know part of the reason why I want to be on the commission is for the responsibility of protecting and preserving New York's historical buildings.
0:51:05
And I do know from what I understand that granting hardship is also rare.
0:51:10
So beyond that I can't really speak on it.
0:51:13
Think it does come down to individual case and actually seeing all of the information that's in front of me before I can make a decision on that or comment on that.
Gale A. Brewer
0:51:22
Okay.
0:51:22
And demolition by neglect, is that something that you can comment on?
0:51:26
What how you would No.
Stephen Wilder
0:51:29
I I I understand it as as an architect and also as someone that's been doing this for over twenty years.
0:51:35
I I know what it looks like.
0:51:38
But as a commissioner on the LPC, I don't think I can really speak on it at this point without having experience working in that space.
Gale A. Brewer
0:51:46
And also DOB and LPC to permit necessary restoration without the owner signing off.
0:51:51
Can you comment on that?
Stephen Wilder
0:51:53
No.
0:51:54
Because I don't think I'm not sure if it falls within the LPC's purview of of applications for landmark designation.
Gale A. Brewer
0:52:02
Right.

Next.
