Is there and just for the sake of my colleagues who have other bills, I know I I have it in your testimony, but is there anything else that you want to expand on on any of the bills?
1:26:27
Council member Wan's bills?
1:26:34
Oh, see.
1:26:34
Yeah.
1:26:35
Anything else that you mean, can ask specific questions.
1:26:37
I'm sorry.
1:26:37
But is there anything else?
1:26:39
It seems like it seems like you're not you're not in support of any of these bills.
1:26:43
So I just wanna see where you all are at with the remaining Yeah.
Brett Sikoff
1:26:46
I think we would like more information, you know, particularly in Councilmember Wan's bills in terms of how, for example, the wireless network access to city facilities, how that would be, how she envisions that being implemented.
1:26:58
Is it for users of a TLC licensing center, for example?
1:27:03
Is it for members of the general public to come in and use the Internet?
1:27:09
And then we would have to do an analysis to see if the way it's set up is even available for public access.
1:27:16
There may have to be a redesign of the network.
1:27:19
There may have to be security protocols in place.
1:27:21
There's a lot of questions that we have.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:27:24
And are you yeah.
1:27:25
And are there do you know how many agencies would be capable of providing Internet to the public?
Brett Sikoff
1:27:33
That are currently providing Internet or
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:27:34
No.
1:27:35
Well, I mean, do you have a sense of how many would be able under this bill would be able to provide Internet to the public?
Brett Sikoff
1:27:40
No.
1:27:40
I think we would have to do that.
1:27:41
I I don't wanna speak for other agencies and maybe president, but we'd have to ask another agency to do that assessment.
Jennifer Gutiérrez
1:27:50
Oh, we have someone here from DCAS.
1:27:55
Yes.
1:27:55
Would you be able to speak to that about how many agencies would be capable of providing free Internet to the public?
