The proposed development plan aims to transform the empty rail yard into a vibrant, connected part of the community. The plan includes a mix of residential, commercial, and public spaces designed to create a new urban center.
- Key components: 1,500-room convention hotel, Wynn Resort, 5.6 acres of public open space, up to 4,000 new housing units, and a public school.
- Job creation: Over 30,000 union construction jobs and thousands of permanent careers.
- Community benefits: Meeting or exceeding prior commitments to open space, affordable housing, community spaces, and a public school location.

In the process, we will create over 30,000 union construction jobs and thousands of permanent careers and deliver on all of the community benefits agreed to in 02/2009, meeting or exceeding prior commitments to open space, affordable housing, community spaces, and a location for a public school.
