Good afternoon, chair Reilly and council member Bacher.
1:40:48
Thanks so much for allowing the members of the public to be here.
1:40:53
I just want to reiterate, I'm I'm a member of the West forty seventh forty eighth Street Blocks Association and a Hell's Kitchen resident for twenty five years.
1:41:05
I remember when there was no bike path, unfortunately, along unfortunately, along the Hudson, and the community has benefited so much from all of the work along the Hudson River Park, and I think it would be a shame to sabotage both the internationally renowned High Line, you know, which is like the first thing on everyone's list when they come to New York for the past fifteen years in terms of sites to visit.
1:41:38
And also the amazing work up along up and down the Hudson River Park with a slide where adults can slide and an amazing bike path.
1:41:51
And I just question, though I appreciate the related has come to the table with additional housing units, There are still only 400 324 affordable units,
1:42:05
we desperately need more in my opinion.
1:42:09
But I also just wanna say that I think that the plan is still a thinly veiled attempt to get casino license, and so I am adamantly opposed to the proposed rezoning of the Western Rail Yards.
1:42:26
And I encourage related to stay in conversation with community board for it's a shame that you weren't ready in time to have more talks to them because members of the public have been coming for months to hearings like this, giving up our time.
1:42:45
Okay?
1:42:45
So thank you.
