My name is Winston Majed, and I serve as executive director of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce.

Originally chartered in 1896, we are the oldest continual business organization in Upper Manhattan.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all our residents as well as to develop and attract quality businesses and professional services.

Over the course of our hundred and twenty nine year history, we've co sponsored some of the most important key development projects in New York City, including the George Washington and Triborough Bridge construction, New York's first subway line, and the eight and the nineteen thirty nine World's Fair.
