Council Member Julie Won inquires about the availability and functionality of Contract Stat for city agencies. Executive Director Michael Sedillo explains that Contract Stat is a service provided by the Mayor's Office of Nonprofit Services to help agencies identify bottlenecks in the contracting process.
- Contract Stat uses Power BI data fields and expert staff to analyze contracting data
- The service aims to reduce the time agencies spend on data analysis
- Insights from Contract Stat are shared with agency-level and City Hall-level principals

Okay and contract stat is something that they can log on to themselves or they have to wait for someone to provide them?

So great question.
1:09:53
It's a service that our agency, our office provides nonprofit providers.

Mox does have a Power BI data field that we pull from but we also have a staffer on our team who spent years at Mox, knows the system, and can pull data, and really provides that service to agencies so that they're not spending too much time trying to run Excel stat regressions, things I don't even know about but my staffer does, and really helping them identify where those bottlenecks are.

So all of them have the insight into it, and we make sure that principals both at the agency level and city hall level see that data as well.
