Alright.
2:10:22
Thank you.
2:10:22
And then one question one last question.
2:10:25
So many people drop out.
2:10:27
They just say, screw it.
2:10:29
I can't do this anymore.
2:10:30
Who keeps track of that?
2:10:32
Does anybody know that they get halfway through or they're frustrated?
2:10:35
Is there any I mean, they call me and we try to deal with them, but there are many others.
2:10:39
They just don't take the money.
2:10:42
Is that something you keep track of?
2:10:54
They get they are awarded the money and it's too complicated to fill out the stuff.
2:11:00
Know it's different three pages or 17 pages or you did cut it down.
2:11:04
I got it.
2:11:05
But you got a lot like that.
2:11:06
These are the little groups.
2:11:07
They don't have a, you know, controller.
2:11:10
They don't have somebody at the agency.
2:11:12
Are you keeping track of that?
2:11:40
They don't go.
2:11:41
They quit.
2:11:42
So that would be something to look at because at least have a discussion with them why this is happening.
2:11:47
I have, about three or four right now just in my area.
2:12:23
Thank you.
2:12:24
I could go on and on.
2:12:25
Thank you.
Kim Yu
2:10:47
I can try to jump in.
2:10:49
It'd be interesting to know at what stage they drop out.
2:11:14
That's something that we can certainly take an eye towards tracking and but and also, know, on an this is not the ideal, but if there are situations like that, we are available to point them to the right resources to move them through the entire process.
2:11:32
Because if they've gotten so far that they've been awarded a contract to provide some service in their neighborhood or their community, we hope to see them through all the way.
Michael Sedillo
2:11:51
If I may jump in, council member, I think that's also why we're so excited about thinking about council discretionary contracts as grants because it it is crazy to me that we treat them like they were competitively bid contracts.
2:12:03
Those under $25,000 contracts have to work through the same So for for us, that would represent removing the registration process and really going directly to payment, which is what the out years of the multiyear vehicle accomplishes, but we would like to go more bold.
2:12:17
I think that would disproportionately help the smaller organization to really have their pulse on the or on the community.
