Brian McGinn
3:02:36
Yeah.
3:02:37
Again, I would just say con continued violations would would have to have continue more worse consequences.
3:02:47
Like I said, the vendors that that we have that we have the problems with, they're the same ones over and over and over, and that would be my only comment.
Noah Sheroff
3:02:59
I would just add if there was a way to directly speak with food truck operators, that would be helpful.
3:03:08
Just to give an example, one of the issues we're facing is every weekend there's a food truck operator that comes and because of the smoke, it's a jerk chicken food truck.
3:03:22
The food is fantastic, admittedly, but it does interfere with one of the second floor attendants has really bad asthma, and he's been impacted by the smoke going into his window.
3:03:39
And that's something that we've been going back and forth with, bouncing from saying DSNY to NYPD to Department of Health to DEP was thought to get involved since it's related to smoke.
3:03:54
And it's just a matter of at this point, I'm not even sure where to turn.
3:04:02
It sometimes feels like we're pounding the pavement, and even though the agencies have been very receptive and very helpful, Sometimes it just feels sort of like a whirlwind.
3:04:15
Thank you.
Daniel Scorse
3:04:17
I think I said in my testimony, but gas power generators I think are ridiculous and street for street vendors.
3:04:24
I understand why they want to use them.
3:04:28
Some of them do use batteries and have backup batteries.
3:04:31
It is an option, but I don't think gas powered generators should be allowed.
3:04:35
And similar to the smoke in the Second Floor window comment.
3:04:40
But I wanted to also say that revocation of permits for repeat offenders would obviously be a great thing.
Pierina Sanchez
3:04:48
Thank you.
