CCHR promotes accessibility and inclusion through targeted education, outreach, and partnerships, including close collaboration with organizations led by and serving people with disabilities.

Our Human Rights Law 101 training includes disability protections in all areas of our jurisdiction and we also offer in-depth trainings focused on accessibility in housing and public places.

In fiscal year 'twenty four we hosted three seventy five trainings that covered disability protections under the New York City human rights law up from about two sixty in the prior year.

And through our trainings on employment protections and disability protections in housing and public places, we reached over 10,000 New Yorkers.

In fiscal year twenty four, we partnered with Project Access for All to co host a Disability Unite festival, which brought together over 5,000 participants.
