So there's obviously many offices that are involved when it comes to ADA matters as it relates to small businesses.
1:15:57
What does coordination look like between SBS and also CCHR regarding accessibility compliance?
1:17:07
Okay.
1:17:08
That was the next question.
1:17:09
What does the coordination look like between SBS and also the mayor's office for people with disabilities?
Haris Khan
1:16:03
We're really proud of the relationship that we have between our sister agencies.
1:16:08
And that means it's not just the business focused events that we throw, the Small Business Expo certainly being one of them.
1:16:14
It also means the CCHR's fifth annual Disability Unite Festival last year.
1:16:19
And it's not just the festivals.
1:16:21
Wanna reiterate, it's also the day to day engagement of our outreach teams when they're visiting Corridor Box.
1:16:26
It's the activation of our mobile outreach unit with cheerful as you've definitely seen our big RV truck, which we affectionately call Mobi.
1:16:32
So when Mobi is in neighborhoods, there's been times when we've had outreach staff from CCHR at least eight, I think last year.
1:16:40
And so it's a very deep relationship here, it's across different teams at CCHR and SBS.
1:16:47
And even when there are news articles, public reporting that brings up an interesting new take on accessibility, we will get on the phone at a leadership level to try to understand what that means for New Yorkers and for business owners.
1:16:59
So it's wide ranging, all the forms that you can think of.
1:17:03
That's our current relationship and certainly with MOPD as well.
1:17:14
Very similar with MOPD and and at a leadership level, at the highest at the commissioner level as well.
