Thank you, chair, and thank you commissioner and to your staff.
1:54:26
First of all, I just wanna talk about a featured piece in news 12.
1:54:31
This was pertaining to the Junior Street Bridge and the dilapidation of the cleanliness of the bridge.
1:54:40
We've got multiple three in one complaints about this particular bridge that was unkept by DOT for close to three to four to five months, so these tickets go back.
1:54:55
And I wanna know after we actually did some advocacy, the bridge was cleaned up.
1:55:01
So, we wanna thank you for cleaning up that bridge, but I wanna know exactly it clearly states that DOT is responsible for maintaining and cleaning that bridge.
1:55:11
I wanna know, is it a funding issue as to why there's no consistency in the cleaning of that bridge when that particular bridge is a major transportation route for the residents that live in Brownsville and East New York to get on the l train?
1:55:45
Just as a more pointed question, why has it taken so long to to keep to keep a consistent schedule of cleaning that bridge?
1:55:58
But I don't why don't why won't you have the answer for that?
1:56:01
I mean, you you cleaned the bridge after we we made it public and we we did provide the advocacy.
1:56:10
I'm not understanding why we don't have the details at least on that particular bridge, you know, as far as the maintenance and the cleaning and those scheduling the schedules to keep that particular bridge clean.
1:56:34
We'll wait for that detailed information, and hopefully, you can provide some the the funding dollar amount it it takes to maintain these particular bridges.
1:56:43
As far as the overnight truck parking, there's been some concerns that has been raised by community board five as far as the input from the residents, and you probably received a letter from the chair.
1:57:00
Just wanna let you know I stand with the community board even though we do support it, but we just wanna make sure that there's input across even the community board as to, you know, the metrics of it and how our community is gonna benefit from that.
1:57:20
Also too, we want to thank Ace.
1:57:22
Ace did an amazing job with cleaning that particular bridge after you had came out the day before, so we definitely want to thank them for that.
1:57:31
Now the 4,700,000 that was given or it's been allocated for the Van Sinderen Avenue Street escape project.
1:57:42
I wanna just basically commend you and thank you for that, but also two, what needs to be taken into consideration is further south along the L train.
1:57:55
dilapidated, the roads are dilapidated straight all the way down from Atlantic all the way down going south to Linden Boulevard where it cuts off or even goes a little further.
1:58:10
So, if we can get some attention paid there, we would definitely appreciate that because that's a heavy traveled route for folks who get on the L train, who cross Linden Boulevard and even go further north into the district.
1:58:23
Thank you much.
Ydanis Rodriguez
1:55:29
Let me get back to you with the details.
1:55:31
But I I I said before, from the $34,000,000,000 capital for ten year that we have, $17,000,000,000 are for our bridges for to keep them in the state of good repair.
1:55:43
But let me get back to you with more detail.
1:55:53
Yeah.
1:55:53
Let me get back to you with the specific because I don't have the answer with me right now, so I will get from my team.
1:56:23
So we are very proud how we keep our bridges safe and maintenance in a good state of good repair.
1:56:29
To that particular question on that bridge, I need to get back to you because I don't have the information.
