Yeah.
1:31:32
So does the new the education component now include this new rule?
1:32:09
just want to know if the new rule is going be included in whatever training material DOT is using, you know, to better inform bicyclists.
1:32:20
Is that a yes or is that a no?
1:32:26
Is your mic on, commissioner?
1:32:36
I I get that and I wanna be safe.
1:32:37
I've almost, you know, I I've been on the wrongs on the, you know, looking on the on one one way and a bicyclist, you know, is coming the other way and almost hit me a couple of times.
1:32:47
So I understand the need to hold people responsible.

I'm not disputing that.
1:32:51
I think that there has to be a consequence to every action.
1:32:54
What I'm saying that it's not parable with what we're doing with drivers right?
1:33:00
You get a summons for driving and hitting somebody you know if for whatever reason, but then you get a misdemeanor for riding a bike the wrong way, it does not seem fair and at least you know at minimum we should be alerting bicyclists and working with groups that work with with e bike drivers so that they understand what the new policy is and the serious implications of being charged with a misdemeanor this day and age.
1:33:29
That's all I'm I'm I'm saying.
1:33:30
And with that, I have no more questions.
Ydanis Rodriguez

We're gonna be some intersection.
1:31:49
We hire numbers of crashes in educating those drivers, but also New Yorkers who use e bike.

1:32:03
They do a good job.
1:32:04
Yes.
1:32:06
Work them very soon.
1:32:07
You know, our micro mobility office.
1:32:09
I
1:32:27
We have biweekly check-in between New York City DOT and YPD.
1:32:32
