Okay.
0:23:15
I want to talk about tuition adjustment.
0:23:18
So the executive plan includes a reduction of $50,000,000 in FY '25 only for tuition adjustment related to student enrollments.
0:23:28
This reduction was also reflected in the FY twenty five November plan, accounting for a total reduction of $100,000,000 in FY '25 for tuition adjustments.
0:23:39
So what was CUNY's projected student enrollment versus actual enrollments in FY '24 and '25?
0:24:19
And do you anticipate an additional reduction in FY '26?
0:24:40
So overall, you does CUNY anticipate an increase in overall enrollment?
Sherif Soliman
0:23:48
So I'll speak to the adjustment and then I'll maybe ask my colleague Alicia Alvaro to address the enrollment.
0:23:58
The technical adjustment is essentially what it is.
0:24:03
Each year, OMB will ask us for our revenue projections and we essentially give them those projections and then they do a technical adjustments to align the actual revenue budget with what we expect to collect.
0:24:23
We're hoping that won't be the case because we're hoping that we will have a nice uptick in enrollment that we're working really hard hopeful that our communication to the administration next year will be we anticipate more revenue from collections because of the uptick in enrollment.

So do you want to so let me she can give you some of the numbers.
0:24:52
Let me also say that some of the investments like adding the funding for the application fee waivers.
0:24:58
We've seen the impact that that has in driving early enrollment applications, allowing us to work more closely with the students.
0:25:06
So we assume that should we receive the funding that we're asking to sort of make everybody complete, that would also be helpful with enrollment.
0:25:13
But let me allow Provost Alvaro to give you some numbers.
Alicia Alvero
0:25:16
Yes.
0:25:17
I can tell you that comparing May 12 this year to the enrollment of May 12 last year, we're up in the senior colleges 4% enrollment at the comprehensive 16%, at the community colleges 18%, and graduates 7%.
0:25:36
And so that's a snapshot at a moment in time of where we were same time last year And we are really excited about this and working hard to hope that that momentum continues.
