You mentioned some of you can talk more about the service students Student Success Centers offer.
6:07:19
Why is it so valuable to each one of you?
Albert Tan
6:07:25
It's really valuable for me because I get to learn things that I wouldn't normally learn in a college I mean, in a high school environment.
6:07:33
So, when I was applying to college this fall, I went to many advisers.
6:07:40
For example, I had LeMira LeMira look over my resume, and without her, my resume probably wouldn't be as polished.
6:07:48
Or I had Dana look over my essays, and so with that, I was able to send something that I was confidently gonna submit without feeling like I was missing a part of that.

It goes the same for me too.
6:08:01
Well, doing my personal statement for the colleges, Barry, one of our like adviser from student success center helped me with my student I mean, with my personal statement too, and then Lemira, like Albert said, also helped me with my resume, which made it look more appealing to the colleges, so it's really meaningful.

6:08:32
We need you back in New York.
6:08:34
So, you so much.
6:08:37
You want to add something?
6:08:38
No.
6:08:39
You're good?
6:08:40
Alright, Student Success Centers as you heard earlier is going to be funded internally, centrally by New York City Public Schools, but we are gonna have a briefing on as to I wanna see it in middle schools as well.
6:08:51
So, we will be doing that, having that conversation with them.
