How's everyone doing today?
2:16:31
Alright.
2:16:32
Well first question is where do I get this comic books from?
2:16:36
I have a little library and I would like to have these in my little library so kids can have it in my district.
2:16:42
So where do I get it from?
2:16:43
That's a that's a real question.
2:16:44
Okay.
2:16:45
You?
2:16:46
Okay.
2:16:46
Got it.
2:16:48
I would like some copies, so appreciate that.
2:16:51
Super cute.
2:16:52
My first question is, I had my hearing yesterday with DYCD, and the first question I and we know that we're having this huge expansion, so I just wanted to just talk about like what's the collaboration like with the after school expansion and DOE.
2:17:08
Obviously this is gonna be a huge overhaul, we're all excited about it.
2:17:11
I'm not excited about the timing, but you know we're gonna get our RFP out of it, so
Rita Joseph
2:17:16
I guess I gotta deal with it.
Althea V. Stevens
2:17:18
So I just wanted to just know and really quickly because I and we could also talk offline after as well, but just wanted to know what the collaboration was like, then I have a summarizing question, and then I have a question about the workforce.
Flavia Puello-Perdomo
2:17:35
Good afternoon.
2:17:36
I'm happy to share that we actually have an outstanding collaboration with DYCD well prior into this expansion.
2:17:44
So I personally and a team within community schools meet with DYCD on a monthly basis.
2:17:51
We also put forward after school guidance based on a city council bill that was introduced.
2:17:58
We also collaborate around like current district partnerships.
2:18:01
So for the current expansion however, there are right now weekly meetings that are happening.
2:18:07
Stevens both with DOE, DYCD, City Hall, and other members to ensure that we're doing this well and put out.
Althea V. Stevens
2:18:16
Absolutely.
2:18:17
Because, you know, this expansion is gonna be pretty much taking place in schools, so I just wanna make sure that everyone's on the same page and we're all working together, but I'll obviously be in touch about more details about what some of those meetings are.
