I am Melissa Aviles Ramos, Chancellor of New York City Public Schools, and I am joined by first deputy chancellor, Daniel Weisberg, deputy chancellor of operations and finance, Emma Vadera, and chief financial officer, Sarita Scott.

In New York City Public Schools, our fiscal year twenty twenty six executive budget totals approximately $42,200,000,000 which includes $34,400,000,000 in operating resources and another $7,800,000,000 for education related pension and debt service funds.

This is nearly a billion dollar increase over the FY '25 budget and I want to thank the mayor and this council for their deep investment in our school communities.
