Yeah.
2:48:03

2:48:03
Hello.
2:48:04

2:48:05
Thank you, chairs Brannen, majority leader for Riaz, and chair, Mercedes.
2:48:10
Mercedes is having us here today.
2:48:12
So I wanna, I'm gonna get diving into this right now quickly, and I wanna call on the city council to add the worker justice worker justice project and the street vendor project into the crisis management crisis management system program, which will get them availability to access the funding for Cure Violence initiatives because there's a lot of street vendors that go do a lot of harassment with NYPD to the point that selling that goes to the hospital.
2:48:36
And at the same time, a lot a number of these deliveries get hurt on the street by people in the city of New York and the street vendors too.
2:48:43
So when they go into the hospital, I know that there's a big lang language barrier and majority these guys and gals have a language barrier, and it's a racial barrier.
2:48:51
So they need to able to speak to the people that they trust that they know they could trust, which is their own people, which is mostly Hispanic people.
2:48:58
And the Worker Justice Project and the Streetbender Project are full of Latinos members.
2:49:02
So they should be able to to compensate with them more just like the Cure Violence organizations that are full of African Americans only deal with the African Americans with the with the, like, life camp and man up eight.
2:49:12
So I'm calling the city council to add those two nonprofits to the crisis management system so they're able to access the funding like the crisis management system getting, which is up to a hundred million dollars.
2:49:20
I believe that both the organics should get at least should get a million dollars out of that out of that pie, out of that bucket with the Cure Violence organizations.
2:49:28
And I'm calling on the city council, mister Brandon mister Justin Brandon, on the thirtieth of this month in May at 06:00 at 6PM at the thirtieth or at 6PM.
2:49:38

2:49:54
