I am a member of LifeLink's Clubhouse located in Elmhurst Hospital, Queens.

Please understand that the long time proven clubhouse models are designed to meet members various needs.

Some folks are not adapt to be in large crowds, small groups, also providing a safe haven to talk and discuss issues among folks running the same journeys, which makes continued funding so vital to the members' recovery.

Mental illness is a very broad and complex issue, and the one size fits all sovereign solutions just does not work.

I personally have seen members who started out isolating corners and coloring all day to go on to become peer counselors, full time workers, and and functional members of our society.
