Lorena Lucero
3:08:33
For policy work we currently have three individuals focused on that work.
Alexa Avilés

Lorena Lucero
3:08:46
Two of them will.
Alexa Avilés
3:08:48
I'm sorry?
3:08:48
Two.
Lorena Lucero
3:08:49
Two of the three.
Alexa Avilés
3:08:49
Two of the three.
3:08:51
And what are their priorities under the model?
Lorena Lucero
3:08:57
Well one will be working closely with the legal service contractors, providers to field and provide support with the legal mentorship, the technical component of it.
3:09:11
So we can close work closely but also provide timely updates to our legal support centers and the other will be supporting with the legal support centers.
Alexa Avilés
3:09:22
Got it.
3:09:22
And has the RFP made any accommodation for the increased complexity of existing cases?
Lorena Lucero
3:09:34
I'm gonna say yes.
3:09:36
The contracts as they are provide more flexibility so folks can meet deliverables based on the needs that are emerging.
3:09:44
But again, more to come as we finalize.
Sophie Dalsimer
3:09:47

Alexa Avilés
3:09:47

Manuel Castro
3:09:59
Again, we work closely with OMB to determine this.
3:10:03
You know, we have an existing headcount, 63 staff.
3:10:10
We have how many vacancies?
3:10:12
13 vacancies?
3:10:14
13 vacancies.
3:10:15
We're working to fill those up.
3:10:18
I think part of the reason we've established the technical assistance and mentorship program was so that they can also provide adequate assistance to the nonprofits that we're contracting, which is why this this program is essential to the work that we do.
Alexa Avilés
3:10:43
So you haven't you haven't requested additional staff from OMB.
3:10:48
You've you you're working on filling the 13 vacancies.
3:10:52
