Council Member Justin Brannan questions the funding status for the Immigrant Rights Collaborative in FY26. Deputy Commissioner Jasniya Sanchez explains that while there's no additional funding, the program will continue with existing resources.
- No additional funding added for FY26
- The emergency push for increased workshops was for the second half of FY25
- 17 community-based organizations will continue to be funded for immigrant rights workshops in FY26

So there's no additional funding added in FY twenty six for the immigrant rights collaborative.
2:30:17
Do we assume that the program will be discontinued beyond f y twenty five?
Jasniya Sanchez
2:30:26
If I can add.
2:30:27
Thank you for the question.
2:30:29
So the immigrant right collaborative was an emergency push as part of our office to increase the number of Know Your Rights workshops.
2:30:41
So that was something that we did for the second half of FY twenty five.
2:30:49
In FY twenty six, the immigrant rights workshops program itself continues and is fully funded.
2:30:55
So we will continue to fund the 17 community based organizations that have been contracted yearly to continue that work.
