Hello.
1:25:22
I have so many questions and they're like all over the place like I have prepared questions and now I have more questions, so I'll try to get through them.
1:25:30
Apologies in advance chair.
1:25:33
So I guess I'll start with traffic enforcement.
1:25:37
It is projected to have 10,500,000.0 in OTPS.
1:25:45
I have a lot of questions about costs of trucks and other equipment that allow the officers and the precincts to properly tow trucks.
1:25:57
So, can you share like how much of that goes to like the lots, the trucks, and how much
Farah N. Louis
1:26:07
capital budget.
Kristine Ryan
1:26:07
Oh.
1:26:08
So that wouldn't be part of the OTPS that you're seeing there.
Gale A. Brewer
1:26:10
So what
Nantasha M. Williams
1:26:11
is that money for
Kristine Ryan
1:26:12
then?
1:26:12
That money is for equipment, IT, anything Is it for the
Nantasha M. Williams
1:26:16
window things that you guys are using now?
Kristine Ryan
1:26:19
The like the boots?
1:26:21
Yes.
1:26:22
That would be Barnacles.
1:26:23
Barnacles, right.
1:26:24
Yes, that would be covered with OTPS.
Nantasha M. Williams
1:26:27
And how do you determine like how to disperse those assets?
Kristine Ryan
1:26:32
So when when it comes to anything tied to to the budget and particularly non personnel costs, the division or the deputy commissioner of management budget, my team and I work with the individual bureaus and commands on what their operational needs are, what equipment do they need, what additional staffing enhancements over time, and we have that ongoing dialogue.
1:26:54
If there's a new initiative, for example, for the barnacle, hey, we want a better way to do this or a different way to do it, we would sit down with the commands look at it, my contracts team would look and say okay what is the estimated cost for this sort of thing and then we would go through if we determined to move forward a contracting process.
Nantasha M. Williams
1:27:09
And are you able to just send my office scopes for the barnacles, the boots and tow trucks because we had tried to get quotes from the police department about how much it costs.
Kristine Ryan
1:27:20
Yeah, we can give you information on what those pieces cost.
Rita C. Joseph
1:27:22
Okay, now I want
Nantasha M. Williams
1:27:23
to just give a quick shout out to, I believe he's a sergeant, Sergeant De Jesus at the one hundred thirteenth.
1:27:28
He worked very hard in that division and oftentimes with very limited resources, so my thing is always trying to get them more resources so they can do more.
1:27:38
Thank you for that.
1:27:39
You're welcome.
