But, before we proceed further, I'd like to invite all of the commissioners to introduce themselves and make brief remarks beginning with our vice chair, Sharon Greenberger.

Prior to joining the YMCA, Sharon spent more than twenty years in the private and public sectors working to improve New Yorkers' health and livelihoods and to promote the development of New York City.

We have 24 branches throughout the city, so we understand what New Yorkers are facing, and I hope to really reflect that in the conversations that we have here.

One other note I will just say in terms of relevant experience that I hope to be able to leverage here is in the past, I ran the school construction authority and was the chief operating officer of the DOE.

So, again, have that broad perspective on community needs and I think know little something about construction and development and hope to parlay those into effective tools here.
