First, thank you guys for for coming tonight and testifying.
2:15:18
And you said something interesting that every time you, whether it's in Albany or in city hall when you guys are opposed to something or support something, you've managed to deliver it.
2:15:26
And quite honestly, a lot of the changes to housing law and financing and development that is needed for this city would not have happened without the partnership either in Albany or in city hall with the carpenters, with the laborers, with the entire building trades, and then, in fact, the labor movement in general because we know how hard it is, for working people to be able to find a place to live in this city.
2:15:46
But many of the projects that your guys are gonna have gone to work on, it's taken forever to get them to shovels in the ground.
2:15:53
So I think what we're looking for is, are there recommendations coming from either the carpenters or the building trades writ large as to what we can do to speed up that process?
2:16:02
So not only do you guys get to work sooner, but you might even get an opportunity to live in some of these buildings that you're building.
2:16:08
And if you don't know the answer to that, you can share with us later.
2:16:10
But I'm just curious as to what the perspective of the building trades is on this.
