So I also wanna thank you, chair, for your work.

And these were, I think, challenging but important conversations.

I am also very proud of what we have put before New Yorkers.
0:14:10
It will make a market difference.

I know we all brought our professional expertise, but I wanna say to New Yorkers who have been doubled up, who have to call a family member because they cannot afford a new lease, who have to leave neighborhoods where they saw their friends and their parents age in place but cannot stay because it's too unaffordable, help is coming.
0:14:36
And I'm hoping that New Yorkers can look at these proposals as an avenue to really respect the dignity of New Yorkers who have given so much to the city.

I know that the other proposals that we considered throughout this process brought a lot of discussion.
0:14:55
And I think they warrant more discussion, open primaries being one of them, one of the many, that I think that we need to, as New Yorkers, dig in and figure out what our democracy should look like.
0:15:06
But for the charge for this commission, I think we have met the moment.

So thank you for your leadership, and thank you, vice chair, for your leadership.
